It features a timber-framed and plastered structure with a thatched roof that is half hipped to the east. The cottage has an end stack with offsets on the right side and a ridge stack positioned to the left of center. It is one storey high with an attic and has a three-unit plan with a lobby entry. The front has three ground floor windows of varying sizes, all with glazing bars, and there is a closed 20th-century gabled porch with a boarded door. Above, there is one casement dormer window with a plain tiled roof. The cottage also has a 20th-century brick plinth. Inside, there is an open hearth with a cambered mantel beam and exposed chamfered ceiling beams.
