Description

Twiddys Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage located in Bourn, Caxton End. It features a timber-framed structure with rough cast rendering and has an end stack on the left side, along with a rebuilt ridge stack. The cottage has a thatched roof and is one storey high with attics, originally designed with a three-unit plan. The front includes a closed, gabled porch that has a 20th-century boarded door. There are three horizontal sliding sash windows on the ground floor, each with boarded shutters, and three horizontal sliding sash dormer windows in the roof.
