The cottage has a gault brick ridge stack and an end stack on the right side. It is one storey high with an attic. There is a thatched open porch with a boarded door leading to the main entrance. On the ground floor, there are four windows, three of which have horizontal sliding sashes, along with four casement dormer windows in the attic.
