Description

Hillside is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weather boarded, topped with a half hipped thatched roof. There is a red brick shafted ridge stack located to the right of the center. The house has two storeys and a three-unit plan. It features a closed gabled porch that contains a panelled door. On the ground floor, there are three casement windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has three smaller casement windows. The building was noted in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments report from 1957.
