Description
The stable block at Wood Farm dates from the late 18th century and was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a planked door, flanked by single windows that have louvred lower lights. On the first floor, there are two similar windows. To either side of the lower windows, there are blocked doorways with ashlar lintels and raised keyblocks. To the right, there is a single-storey block that is slightly recessed, which has a single square opening at the front.
