Description
The stableblock at Manor Farm dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and is 1 to 1½ storeys high. There are two small fixed casement windows facing the green, and a stable door with a flat-arched head that is now blocked, with a top-opening casement inserted into the blocking. Stone steps lead up to a plank door that provides access to the loft at the right gable end. At the rear, there are 20th-century stable doors. The gable-end stacks have moulded cappings and flat-chamfered skirtings on the main body, and the roofline is at two different heights. The interior has not been inspected. The stableblock adjoins Hill Farmhouse.
