Description

Manor Farmhouse is a detached house dating from the 18th century, with 19th century extensions at the rear. The facade is made of ashlar, while the rest of the building features coursed squared and dressed limestone and brick. The front roof is covered with grey slate, while the rear has some concrete tile and stone slate. There are rendered stacks on the roof. The main structure is rectangular and has two 19th century extensions at right angles at the rear, connected by a brick lean-to.

The house is two storeys high with an attic and has a symmetrical facade with three windows, which are lit by two and three-light 20th century wooden casements that feature keystones. There are two-light attic windows in the gable ends, a band between the floors, and a moulded eaves cornice. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with glass in the former panels, topped by a flat canopy with a moulded margin supported by moulded stone brackets. The gable ends have flat coped gables, and the gable-end stacks have moulded cappings and flat-chamfered skirtings. The interior has not been inspected.

In front of the house is a boundary wall made of coursed squared and dressed limestone with flat coping. This wall runs across the front of the house and returns to the corners, standing between 1 and 1.7 meters high, with ramps at either end.
