Description
Manor Farmhouse, dating from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, features an exterior primarily from the 18th century with an early 19th-century extension to the south-west. The main front, facing south-east, is two storeys high with five windows and has a steeply-pitched hipped slate roof. The walls are made of colourwashed brick, with some flint in the central section and a plinth. The windows are casements, and there is a half-glazed door beneath a canopy. The rear of the house includes extensions and a catslide roof, indicating that it has been significantly modified from an earlier structure; some walling is in red brick (below a brick-nogged timber-framed gable), while other sections are rendered. Additionally, there is a high red brick garden wall that extends a short distance along the south side of the house.
