Description

Royal Oak Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features a timber frame with a painted 18th-century brick front and stands two storeys high. The front has three 20th-century glazing-bar casements in their original openings and two segmental-headed doors. There is a 20th-century extension on the south side. Inside, the cottage has two bays of exposed framing, and there is a lean-to rear extension that creates a catslide roof.
