Description

The Old Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with an extension added towards the road in the late 18th or early 19th century. It features a timber frame and is encased in 17th century red brick that has been painted white. The building has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys high. There are four casement windows, with the two on the left set in 17th century frames. The rear elevation includes a large external stack with a broad base, and there are inglenooks inside. The roof also has a catslide design.
