Description

The cowshed at Kettlewell's Farm is a late 18th-century building. It is a single-storey structure with a weatherboarded exterior, forming an L shape. The roof is covered with plain tiles. The timber frame features a clasped purlin roof, with curved braces supporting the tie beams and straight wall braces. The southern side has six bays, while there is a 19th-century lean-to addition on the left side that has a slate roof and eaves ventilators along the entire front. The slightly lower western range consists of three bays and is open on the eastern side.
