Description

Wood End Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It features a timber frame with slight scantling and some small curved braces, with whitewashed brick infill. The roof is half-hipped and tiled, with an off-centre 20th-century brick chimney. The cottage has one storey and an attic, comprising two bays. The south front has irregular single barred casements, with three on the ground floor and one just below the eaves near the off-centre staircase, along with another in a gabled dormer. The gable facing the road has similar casements, with one and a half on the ground floor and two on the first floor. The entrance is located in a whitewashed brick extension at the far end.
