Description

No. 10 The Green is a small house that was formerly two cottages, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, and possibly even earlier. The building is constructed of brick, with the left-hand bay featuring a chequered pattern of red and white bricks. It has a steeply pitched thatched roof and brick chimneys located at the right gable and between the left-hand bays. The house is 1½ storeys high and consists of three bays. The right-hand bays have paired barred wooden casements, while the left side has a paired leaded casement on the ground floor. All ground floor openings are topped with cambered heads, and there are board doors to the left and between the right-hand bays.
