Description

The garden walling at Helmets Limited Registered Office and Moat Cottage dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features coping. The wall is approximately 3 metres high on the north, east, and west sides, and 2 metres high on the south side. The east and west sides display a rare crinkle-crankle plan. The north side has flat buttresses, while the south side features a heavy plinth. There are arched gateways flanked by buttresses and topped with simple segmental pediments at the centre of the east and west sides. The wall is interrupted on the southeast side by an entrance to Moat Cottage.
