Description
No 12 High Street is a house that has been converted into offices. It features an early 19th century red brick exterior that covers an older structure. The building has a plain tile roof that is hipped at the southern end and stands two storeys tall. On the first floor, there are two flush sash windows. The entrance includes a fielded panel door set back in a wooden surround, which is decorated with slender reeded baluster motifs on either side and above. Above the door, there is a 4-pane fanlight, and a flat hood supported by thin, shaped brackets. To the left of the entrance, there is a canted window from the 19th century, while the window on the right features a gauged brick lintel. The eaves are adorned with dentilled brickwork.
