Description

No 29 High Street is a house and shop that dates from the mid-18th century, featuring an earlier timber-frame core. The front section is roughcast, while the southern side at the rear is made of chequered red brick. The northern elevation is mostly plain red brick. The building has a twin-pitched plain tile roof and stands two storeys high. It includes two first-floor sash windows and a 20th-century projecting shop on the ground floor. The southern side has a floor band, and there is an external oven chimney stack at the rear.
