Jessamine Cottages is a house located on High Street in Wheathampstead, dating from the mid-18th century, with window alterations made in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of red brick, with some sections featuring a chequered pattern. It has a plain tile roof that has a gable end facing the road and stands two storeys tall. There is a floor band and one recessed sash window. The door is situated on the right and is topped with a thin, cut-bracketed gabled hood. An 18th-century internal lateral stack is located on the north side of the house. At the rear, there is a mid to late 19th-century extension that includes glazing bar casements.
