Description

This is a barn located 50 metres northwest of Codicote Bottom Farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century. The barn is weatherboarded with a plain tile roof and has a base made of 17th and 20th century red brick. It features five timber frame bays with medium scantling, straight braces, and a clasped purlin roof. There is a deep gabled cart entrance in the centre of the south side. At the eastern end, there is a 20th century grain hopper extension, which is not considered to be of special interest.
