Description

The barn, dating to the 17th century, is situated to the north of the farmhouse at Cowslade Farm. It is a timber-framed barn comprising five bays, with an outshot at the west end and a projection on the south side in the second bay from the east. The interior frame features straight struts to the purlins and posts, all resting on a brick base wall. The roof is covered with red tiles and has ½-hipped ends. The upper walling is boarded, while the lower half of the walls reveals the exposed timber frame, which is bricknogged.
