Description
This barn, located 20 metres south of Slade Farm House, dates back to the 17th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with weatherboard cladding and a plain-tiled half-hipped roof. The structure consists of seven framed bays and has an aisled extension at the front. There are opposing wagon entrances positioned to the left of the centre, which are sheltered by a hipped roof projection at the front. Additionally, there is a stable door at the left end, along with further doors located at the centre right and right. Inside, the barn has a queen strut, clasped purlin roof, although some of the purlins have been partly replaced.
