Description

Slade Farmhouse is a late 17th-century house in Ockham. It is timber framed and faced with whitewashed brick on the front, with a rendered plinth to the left, and has a plain tiled roof. The house is two storeys high, with a double front ridge stack and an offset end stack to the left. The upper floor has two three-light casement windows, while the ground floor has three 20th-century casement windows beneath wooden lintels. A half-glazed door is located to the left of centre, sheltered by a rustic trellis porch with a plain tiled roof. A gabled wing extends at a right angle to the rear left, with exposed timber framing and some areas infilled. A pentice extension to the rear centre has a part-glazed door.
