Description
Upton Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 15th century, with extensions added in the 16th and 20th centuries. It features a timber-framed structure that is exposed on the first floor, while the ground floor is underbuilt in brown brick, with additional brown brick extensions on the right side. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, complete with end gablets. The building has two storeys, with end stacks and a rear ridge stack located to the right of the center, as well as another stack at the rear left. The windows are arranged irregularly, with four large casement windows on the first floor, one of which is leaded, and four windows on the ground floor, all of which are sheltered by tile drip hoods. There is a door to the left of the center, which is protected by a pentice hood supported by iron hangers. Additionally, there is a single-storey extension on the right side of the farmhouse.
