Description
May's Green Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame with a colourwashed, rendered brick base. The upper frame is exposed, with brown brick infilling, and the roof is covered with plain tiles, stepping down to the right. The cottage has two storeys and includes a large cross-ridge stack located to the left of the centre at the junction of the roofs. It consists of four framed bays with bracing on the first floor. There are four windows on the first floor and five windows below. A door is positioned to the left of centre, set within a pentice catslide porch extension that is part of the main roof. Additionally, there is a 20th-century garage extension to the left.
