School. Built in 1901 as a girls School by the firm of Treadwell and Martin for Mary Sophia Dawson a local benefactor. Art Nouveau style. Built of red brick in English bond battered to base front having timber-framed gables with plaster infill. Tiled roof with one brick chimney-stack and central tapering bellcote with shingled spire, surmounted by cock weathervane. Front has paired gables on brackets with two cambered casements below with leaded lights and stained glass windows. Central recessed doorcase with double doors with tulip patterned brass fittings and fanlight with rose motif stained glass. Deep plinth. Decorative rainwater heads with castellated design. Side gables have round-headed twenty-pane window with Art Nouveau design in stained glass. Rear elevation has large dormer with casement with leaded lights.

Interior contains ornamental metal plaque, dado panelling, original fireplace in headmistress' office with three embossed hearts and queen post roof to hall with four original circular iron light fittings incorporating texts.
