Description

Plough Corner Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with 20th-century additions to the rear. It is timber framed and now clad in brick, with tile hanging to the right-hand return front, and flint to the base of the chimney stack. The roof is tiled, with an end stack to the right. The cottage is two storeys high and has a mixed fenestration, featuring three leaded casements on the first floor and two vertical sliding sashes on the ground floor. A 20th-century plate glass window is located on the ground floor to the right. A 19th-century door is situated to the left of the centre, sheltered by a gabled hood supported on brackets. The interior reveals some exposed framing, primarily in the form of ceiling beams.
