Description

Cobham Park Woodyard and Brewhouse dates from 1848 and was designed by William Cubitt. The building has incised render with wooden eaves and a hipped slate roof. It is rectangular, with three bays on either side of a central arched carriage entrance. The upper floor has thermal windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has double-planked garage doors beneath a glass pentice roof supported by iron scroll twists. A glazed thermal window sits above the arched passage, featuring an inscribed keystone. A pediment tops the front, above which is a wooden cupola covered with felt. The rear of the building is brick with a rendered plat band above the ground floor, and a lunette window is located in the centre pediment.
