Description

The house at 18 Church Street, Cobham, is a late 18th-century building with later 19th and 20th-century additions to the left end and rear. The lower portion is whitewashed brick, while the upper portion is red brick, with a plain tiled roof. Brick end stacks are present. The house is two storeys and has an attic, featuring a central, tile-hung, hipped dormer. A plat band runs above the ground floor, and the roof has wooden dentilled eaves. It originally had three bays with glazing bar sash windows; the first-floor window in the centre is now blocked. A 19th-century hipped roof range is set back to the left, and it incorporates a single-storey brick porch with a round arched, ribbed door, complete with strapwork hinges. The left-hand return front features a curved projecting wing with a parapet. The right-hand return front includes a further door set within a glazed porch under a hipped roof. A late 19th-century extension is located at the rear.
