Description

No. 9 The Green is a cottage dating from the 17th to early 18th century, with some alterations. It features a timber frame with brick infill, while the right bay and the ground floor of the left bay have been rebuilt in brick. The cottage has an old tile roof and a rebuilt brick chimney on the left side. It is one storey high with an attic and consists of two bays. The windows are 20th-century wooden casements, including a 4-light bow window on the left, a 3-light casement on the right, and two paired casements in dormers with catslide roofs. The central entrance has a 20th-century door. There are extensions at the rear, and more timber framing is visible inside.
