Description
Glebe Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century that has been altered over time. It features a timber frame with colourwashed brick infill and a blackened rubble stone plinth. The left side wall is made of colourwashed brick. The roof is thatched over three bays on the right side, while the left bay has an old tile roof that is hipped. There are flanking and a central brick chimney, with the central chimney partly made of thin brick and the right chimney being external with a coursed rubble stone base. The cottage is two storeys high and has four bays. The windows are 20th-century leaded casements, with three lights on the ground floor and two lights on the upper floors. A boarded door is located to the right of the centre. The house now includes a former barn that is positioned at right angles to the rear of the right bay.
