Description

This is a house dating from the 17th to early 18th century, and has been altered over time. The front was re-faced or rebuilt using whitewashed brick, with some timber framing visible at the left end. The roof is hipped and thatched, with brick chimneys positioned along the ridge. The building has an L-shaped layout, comprising one storey and an attic, with two main bays and flanking half bays. There are 20th-century paired leaded casement windows—those on the ground floor have segmental heads—and two attic windows in dormers with tiled aprons. A lean-to projection in front of the right bay has a slate roof and a three-light casement window. A single-storey extension is located at the rear of the left bay. The property was formerly known as the Boot Inn.
