Description
This is a cottage dating from the 17th to early 18th century, and it has been altered since its original construction. It is timber-framed with brick infill, and part of its construction features a rubble stone plinth. The roof is covered with old tiles, and it has brick chimneys; the left chimney was rebuilt in the 20th century, while the right chimney is attached to a 20th-century stack connected to the adjacent property at No. 11. The cottage is one storey and has an attic, with two bays. It features 20th-century wooden casement windows: a three-light window on the ground floor, and a bow window to the right. There is a two-light window in the eaves-line dormers, which have slate roofs. A 20th-century door is located in a lobby entry to the left.
