Description

A pair of cottages dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, and subsequently altered. The construction is timber-framed with colourwashed brick infill to the rear, with the remainder of the walls rendered and colourwashed over a mud and rubble core. The roof is corrugated iron, previously thatched, and is hipped to the left and half-hipped to the right. A central brick chimney is present. The cottages are one storey and attic, with two bays. The ground floor features paired leaded casement windows and board doors on the left and right sides. A single similar casement window is set within a dormer in the attic.
