Description

This is a cottage dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed of thin, chequered brick, with band courses at the first-floor level and along the eaves of the gable. The roof is covered with old tiles and there is an external brick chimney, partially rebuilt, on the right side. The property is one bay wide and has a half-story. The gable facing The Green has three-light wooden casements with segmental heads and 20th-century glazing. A 20th-century gabled brick porch provides shelter for the entrance door located on the left-hand side. A paired 20th-century metal casement window is situated on the left side, just below the eaves. A small lean-to extension is attached to the rear of the chimney on the right side.
