Description
Numbers 35 and 36, also known as Hidden Cottage, is a house that was originally a pair of homes, dating from the early to late 18th century. The left three bays feature a timber frame with slight scantling and whitewashed brick infill, while the right bay is primarily constructed of whitewashed brick with modillion eaves. The building has old tile roofs that are half-hipped on the left side and includes brick chimneys. It is two storeys high with four bays in total. The windows are irregular barred wooden casements, with small bay windows in the ground floor of the first and third bays. There are 20th-century doors located in the centre and to the left of the right bay; the centre door has a board hood, while the right door features a cornice hood supported by brackets. Inside, the building has spine beams with small chamfers.
