Description
Hacconby Cottage and Wentbridge Cottage are two dwellings that were originally a single house built in the late 17th century and altered in the early 19th century. The building features a timber frame that is cased in brick, with a rendered and roughcast exterior. It has a steeply pitched tiled roof and stands two storeys high with four bays, each containing one window. The entrances are located in the reveals at the ends of the building. The ground floor has tripartite sash windows set in reveals, while the first floor features long casement windows. The first floor is plastered in panels with roughcast. A central cross axial chimney stack from the 19th century has a diagonal brick course below its cap. Inside, there is a chamfered binding beam and remains of a queen-strut roof.
