Description

No. 3 High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of red brick with a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and features three windows. The entrance is located to the right of the center and is adorned with an early 19th-century trellised timber porch that has a Tudor arched front and a dentilled cornice. The windows on the ground and first floors are glazing bar sashes set in reveals with gauged brick flat arched heads. The left bay is angled away from the road and includes a sash window above a carriage entrance with a segmental head. The house has close eaves, a stack at the right end, and a cross axial ridge stack to the left of center. The right return is weatherboarded, and at the rear, there is a lean-to attached to the kitchen wing with a stack at the back. The interior has not been inspected.
