Description

The Old Barn is a barn that has been converted into a workshop, likely dating from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded, with some sections of brick walling. The roof is covered with pantiles and corrugated sheeting. The structure consists of three bays, with a gabled threshing bay located in the center. There are inserted windows throughout the building. Inside, you can find curved braces supporting the tie beams and wall plates, queen struts connecting to the collars of the principal rafters, butt purlins, and additional curved braces in the walling, as well as straight wind braces.
