Description

Nos. 1 and 3 High Street is an early 16th century timber-framed building that was refronted in red brick around the mid-18th century. It has two storeys, featuring two windows for no. 1 and one window for no. 3. The shop fronts are modern, but there are two sash windows above them. At the rear, there is a 19th-century stable wing. The roofs are tiled. The building retains a mutilated late-medieval timber frame, with the roof, which has curved windbraces, being the least altered part.
