Description
Nos. 3 and 4 Pump Square is a shop and house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red and brown brick and features a pantile roof, a stone-coped gable, and a rendered ridge stack.
The exterior consists of two storeys plus attics and has a three-bay front. On the right side, there is a 20th-century shop front, while the left side has a plain glazed fixed light and a six-panel door with an overlight. The first floor has three plain sash windows arranged in a 1:2 pattern, with brick segmental heads above the ground floor openings. The roof includes two plain sash dormers with lead segmental heads. The corner of No. 4 has been cut and rebuilt at an angle due to road widening.
The interior has not been inspected.
