Description
No. 6 Main Ridge is a house built in the early 19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features red brick in Flemish bond and has a pantile roof, a moulded fascia, a single gable stack, and a coped gable.
The exterior is three stories high with a two-bay front. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a narrow overlight, framed by a low pedimented door surround that includes narrow pilasters and brackets. To the left of the door is a 20th-century casement window, while to the right is an inserted garage doorway. On the first floor, there are two casement windows, and on the second floor, there are two smaller casements. All windows are topped with segmental rubbed brick arches.
The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value with Nos 2 and 4 Main Ridge.
