Description

No. 10 Hall Road is a house built in the early 19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a pantiled roof with raised brick coped gables and two gable stacks. The building has a T-plan and is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with a plain overlight, wood panelled reveals, and a wooden pilastered doorcase topped with a narrow pediment. On either side of the entrance are large canted bays that have glazing bar sashes, flat lead roofs, and moulded surrounds with paterae. The first floor features three glazing bar sashes. Inside, the house retains six-panelled doors, some dado panelling, and in the entrance hall, there are two semi-circular headed doorways.
