Description

No. 31 Halton Road is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a slate roof with stone-coped gables and two brick gable stacks. The building is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a traceried overlight and panelled reveals, framed by a fluted pilastered doorcase that includes roundels, a triglyph frieze, and a narrow hood. On either side of the door are plain sash windows. The first floor has three similar windows, all of which have brick segmental heads and keystones.
