Description
Nos. 2 and 4 Queen Street is a former house that has been converted into a shop and dental surgery. It dates from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a pantile roof with a single brick axial stack. It has a lobby entry plan and is a single storey plus attic, displaying an 8 bay front with a brick dentillated eaves course. The left-hand bay is a later addition. The central entrance consists of a 6 panel door, flanked by two light casements with brick segmental heads. To the right is a 20th-century two light casement, and to the left is another 6 panel door. Beyond this is a 19th-century door and a shop window with glazing bars.
