Description

No. 30 Market Street is a former house, now used as offices, built around 1830. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof with two gable stacks. It has three storeys and a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight, flanked by single canted bay windows that have dentillated cornices. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows, and on the second floor, there are three smaller similar windows. All openings are topped with splayed rusticated ashlar lintels and keystones. This building is included for its group value only.
