Description

This is a late 19th century Methodist manse, built between 1877 and 1878 by Charles Bell. The manse is constructed of yellow stock brick with a slate roof, and has a gable end facing the street. It is three storeys high, featuring deep decorative dentillations along the verge. A rectangular bay window, topped with a parapet, incorporates pairs of plain sash windows. The first floor has two plain sashes with triangular heads and fishscale spandrels. A single plain sash is located on the second floor, set within a pointed opening. A side entrance door is also present. The building is listed at group value only.
