Description

The Manor House is a house dating from the 16th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed limestone ashlar and features a hipped plain tiled roof with a single ridge stack. The building has a lobby entry and is laid out in an L-plan. It stands two stories high and has a five-bay front, which includes a plain plinth and a first-floor band. The central entrance consists of an eight-panelled door set within a moulded wooden surround, flanked by pairs of two-light 20th-century glazing bar casements. On the first floor, there are five similar windows. Inside, the house retains an oak roof that is pegged and dowelled.
