Description

No. 8 Northallerton Road is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and has a pantile roof. The building stands two storeys high and features three bays. Two steps lead up to a central four-panel door that is topped with a flat brick arch. All the windows are four-pane sashes with stone sills and flat brick arches, except for the central bay on the first floor, which is blind and lacks a sill. The house has a dentilled eaves band and two stacks at either end. It is included in the listing for its group value.
