Description

Manor House Farm is a late 17th and 18th century farmhouse. It is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and comprises four bays. A gabled, full-height porch with a half-glazed door is centrally positioned between the second and third bays. On the ground floor, the outer bays have 20th-century casement windows. A window to the left of the porch is a twelve-pane side-sliding sash window with shutters, and all ground-floor windows have stone sills. A band of windows of differing heights is visible on the first floor either side of the porch. The first floor has twelve-pane side-sliding sash windows, except for a 20th-century casement window on the right side of the porch. Two right-hand windows have stone sills. An eaves band runs along the top of the building. The roof features kneelers and a brick coping. A large external brick stack with plain tile offsets narrows above the first floor is located to the right, along with ridge stacks and one at each end.
