No. 9 Dolphin Lane is a house and shop dating from the early 19th century, with minor alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick in English bond, with the ground floor rendered. It stands three storeys high and has two bays. The early 19th-century door and shop front feature narrow pilasters, roundels, a fascia, and a cornice.
