Description

Nos. 5 and 6 Castle Meadow is a shop building dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof. The building has three storeys and consists of five bays. There is a 20th-century shopfront that extends beneath a 20th-century development on the right side. An entry to a yard is located at the extreme left. The right-hand two bays have sash windows with rubbed brick flat arches and glazing bars, while the second floor has three casement windows. A bracket cornice is present, and the northern end of the building has been rebuilt.
